In connection with the 100th anniversary of the Finnkampen in August, all running enthusiasts now have a unique opportunity to be part of the Finnkampen through the 5-kilometer Finnkampen race. On Friday, August 22, the Finnkampen race will be held for the first time, an event open to recreational runners, where everyone has the chance to compete in the yellow Sweden jersey and finish at Stockholm Stadium. In addition to the 5-kilometer race, there will also be a children’s and youth race over 2 kilometers for age groups 10–12 years and 13–16 years. After the recreational race, it will be time for the elite as the Finnkampen participants line up at the starting line for the first event of the Finnkampen, the 10-kilometer road race.
